Pie-A-Professor Fundraiser Event

Join AppITP for our Pie-A-Professor Fundraiser Event!

During our Pie-A-Professor fundraiser, students can donate money towards pie-ing a C.I.S professor of their choice (provided that they are on our official list of professors for this event. Please see the list below!). Those who want to make a donation should scan the Venmo code below with their donation (can be any amount) along with the name of the professor they want to pie. Professors with the most donations in their will be pied on Senior Night, April 22nd starting at 6:00pm at South End Brewing. 

All donations will go towards funding AppITP's networking events and educational experiences.

Senior Night 2026 (plus Pie-A-Professor)

Join us for Senior Night as we celebrate the hard work our graduating seniors! Connect with faculty, friends and fellow students while enjoying hor d'oeuvres (alcoholic drinks are on your own tab). Professors who have raised the most funds will be pied during Senior Night. Additionally, those who have earned the most points from attending AppITP events will be announced and given prizes! If you're interested in joining, scan the QR code below or send in your [RSVP]. No charge for AppITP members, CIS, and/or Cybersecurity majors graduating in May or August 2026 who RSVP by 5pm Monday, April 20. Everyone else will be asked to contribute at the event towards gift bags that will be given to each graduating student (Faculty/Guests - $20) (Students - $10).

Are you looking to expand your network? This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with professionals in the IT industry, gain important career insights and learn more about IT and cybersecurity. Appetizers and pizza are provided for all attendees free of charge, and alcohol is provided for those who are 21+.

If you're interested in joining us, please scan the QR code below or send in your [RSVP] by Friday, April 17th at 5:00 PM, so we can accommodate carpooling needs. Carpoolers will leave from Peacock Hall at 4:00 PM. AppITP will reimburse drivers that take multiple students.

Are you looking to gain volunteer experience? At Buildfest 2026, officers from the AppITP team will be attending to showcase our Lego Coding Train and EV3 Robot and explore the basics of robotics and programming. This hands-on experience is a fun and rewarding way to spark curiosity in young minds and make a positive impact. We welcome all volunteers to get involved. Those who volunteer for the entirety of this event will be treated to lunch from La Monarca. If you're interested in joining, fill out this interest form stating your availability for this day. Are you looking to get more involved with AppITP? In our officer elections, you will have the opportunity to take your involvement to the next level and make a lasting impact on our organization. Serving as an officer is a rewarding experience that helps you develop valuable leadership and professional skills, play a direct role in planning events and strengthen your resume with real-world practical experience. We will be electing officers for several key roles, including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Webmaster, Brand Ambassador, Membership Chair, Service Chair and Officer Elect.
